Fostering
For GACR
Our organization is always
in the need of foster homes. Foster homes provide a refuge to many of
the cats left on our door step and newborns abandoned by their mother
or rescued from the roadside by a passerby. During kitten season, which
starts in early spring and runs through late fall, we receive more
kittens that we can possibly care for, especially if they are baby
bottle kittens. Baby bottle kittens require frequent feeding and more
care than can be given in the shelter. By placing these kittens in a
private home, the kittens tend to receive the more attentive care that
they require. From time to time, an older cat will be placed in a
foster home if they require frequent medication or they are having
trouble recovering from an illness. If you’re interested in housing a
cat or kitten on a temporary basis, as a foster home, please contact
the shelter at 501-623-3484. Please leave your name and number along
with a brief message, and someone from the shelter will return your
call.

Your generous contributions help the volunteers of Guardian Angels Cat Rescue & Adoption Shelter continue helping the cats and kittens in our care.
During this time of the year our expenses are greatly increased due to the number of unwanted kittens, sick and injured cats. Please help us now. Your donation is 100% tax deductible.
Thank you.
